ReActing as a Star
ReActing as a Star is the tailor made Industry program dedicated to experienced regional actors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia.
The goal of the ReActing as a Star program is to promote regional actors and connect them with international casting directors, agents and film directors. It is designed as a networking event where regional actors will be able to create new business opportunities and at the same time increase their competencies and broaden their knowledge.
During the three-day event, well-known actors, film directors and casting directors share their professional experiences with the participants as experts and leaders of thematic workshops. Attendees will enjoy an intimate atmosphere surrounded by lake and beautiful mountains, in the small group of informal socialising, conducive to friendships, conversations and business networking.
ReActing as a Star programme is launched as an initiative of the Slovenian Film Centre and it is produced by Secret Arts Cinema. It is realised in partnership with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Film Center Serbia, the Film Centre of Montenegro, the International Casting Directors Association and the Filmmakers.eu platform.
For the third consecutive year, the program carries the European Film Academy's Knowledge Sharing Label, which aims to support outstanding projects that connect individuals eager to share knowledge with those willing to listen and learn.
The fourth edition of ReActing as a Star will take place from 13 to 15 June 2025 in the city of timeless beauty, Kranj (Slovenia).
