ReActing as a Star
ReActing as a Star is the tailor made Industry program dedicated to experienced regional actors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia, and alumni participants of the Sarajevo Film Festival’s CineLink Industry Days Training and Skills programme.
The goal of the ReActing as a Star program is to promote regional actors and connect them with international casting directors, agents and film directors. It is designed as a networking event where regional actors will be able to create new business opportunities and at the same time increase their competencies and broaden their knowledge.
During the three-day event, well-known actors, film directors and casting directors share their professional experiences with the participants as experts and leaders of thematic workshops. Attendees will enjoy an intimate atmosphere surrounded by lake and beautiful mountains, in the small group of informal socialising, conducive to friendships, conversations and business networking.
ReActing as a Star programme is launched as an initiative of the Slovenian Film Centre and it is produced by Secret Arts Cinema. It is realised in partnership with Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Film Center Serbia, Film Centre of Montenegro, North Macedonia Film Agency, Sarajevo Film Festival, International Casting Directors Association and Filmmakers.eu platform.
ReActing as a Star extends a warm invitation to the alumni participants of the CineLink Industry Days Training and Skills programme (supported by Creative Europe MEDIA). This exciting opportunity builds upon the foundation of the well-established Talents Sarajevo Actors studio, leveraging its expertise and resources. By participating in ReActing as a Star, the alumni enhance their acting skills and expand their professional network within the film industry.
The third edition of ReActing as a Star will take place from 14 to 16 June 2024 in the city of timeless beauty, Kranj (Slovenia).
