Marija was born on the 30th of March 1995 in Berane. She went to elementary school, and later grammar school "Panto Mališić" in Berane. She got a “Luča” diploma, for excellent marks at school. She also graduated from the elementary music school, majoring in piano. Marija enrolled in the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in 2013, majoring in acting, in the class of professors Branislav Mićunović and Branko Ilić.

She acted in numerous plays, such as: TRE SORELLE, GORSKA DRAMA, BOKEŠKI D-MOLL (The Cultural Center of Tivat and Faculty of Dramatic Arts); BOG MASAKRA, ZAŠTO OSTAJEMO U PROVINCIJI, LAŽNA SJEĆANJA, ČIKAŠKE PERVERZIJE, MALI PIRAT, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, OBOŽAVATELJKA, MEDVJED I PROSIDBA and #GOLF 4.

She played notable roles in the films POSJETA, directed by Đorđe Vojvodić, VLADIMIR I KOSARA, directed by Senad Šahmanović, SAGA O TRI NEVINA MUŠKARCA by S Shridhar, BISER BOJANE 1 directed by Milan Karadžić, as well as in the series BISER BOJANE 2.

She speaks English and Spanish fluently and plays the piano.
