Maruša Majer (1985) has been working as an actress in Slovenia and has participated in theatre productions with different Slovenian institutional and non-institutional theatre companies (Mestno gledališče ljubljansko, Prešernovo gledališče Kranj, Mini teater Ljubljana, Anton Podbevšek Teater Novo mesto, Mladinsko Theatre, Gledališče Glej ...) and has had several roles in movie and TV productions in Slovenia and abroad, including Oasis, Ivan, A.I. Rising, Mi chiedo quando ti mancherò, Vrzel...

 

She has been a member of the Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana resident ensemble since 2018.

She has received several awards on international or national level, including Prešeren Fund Award, Berlin Shooting Star Award, Golden Arena (Pula Film Festival), Vesna for best actress (Slovenia Film Festival), Borštnik Award and others.
