Natasha Petrovic
Actress, North Macedonia
Natasha Petrovic studied at the FDA in Skopje where she got a degree in acting. She is working at the Theatre for Kids and Youth Skopje and she is one of the founders of Artopia Skopje. Her movie career began in Milcho Manchevski's film SHADOW.
In 2009, she was cast in the lead role of Samira in Juanita Wilson's feature debut AS IF I AM NOT THERE. For this performance in 2011, she won: Best International Actress at the SIFF, Best Acting Performance at The End of The Pier International Film Festival, and she was selected to be one of the European Shooting Stars.
In 2012 she took part in the film THE PIANO ROOMdirected by Igor Ivanov - Izi and the film TO THE HILT' directed by Stole Popov. In 2013 she played in the film LAZAR directed by Svetozar Ristovski and she won best supporting actress at MoFF 2016. She was the leading role in the film ELIXIR by Brodie Higgs, the short film CHILDREN WILL COME by Ana Jakimska, the film SECRET FROM THE PAST by Rashid Gorgulu, and WITNESS by Mitko Panov.
Natasha had her first Off-Broadway debut in 2017 in the play TEREZIN and in 2019 she played in the TV series DER PASS.
In 2020 she plays in the series PRESPAV and the film HOMO directed by Igor Ivanov - Izi, for which in 2022 she received the awards for Best Actress at the BPFF and best acting performance at Nòt Film Fest. In 2022, she is part of the short film BLUE HOUR by Ana Jakimska and the film SNOW WHITE DIES AT THE END by Kristijan Ristevski.
