Nebojša Rako

Actor, Slovenia

Nebojša Rako is an actor from Slovenia. He was born on February 23, 1990 in Split. He completed his elementary and high school education in Slovenia (in Kočevje). He studied acting at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, under the guidance of professors Olivera Viktorović and Goran Jevtić, and graduated in 2015.

 

During and after his studies, he worked on many projects in Belgrade theaters such as Atelje 212 (THE MOURNING FAMILY, MARKET DAY), Yugoslav Drama Theater (THE MERCHANT OF VENICE), Boško Buha Theater (GOSPOĐA MINISTARKA, THE KING OF COMEDY), Madlenianum Theater (EXAMPLES), BITEF (PHYSICISTS), and more. In addition, he acted in TV series such as 12 WORDS (dir. Jelena Stolica), KLAN (dir. Slobodan Skerlić), MY GENERATION Z (dir. Milan Konjević), RADIO MILEVA (dir. Dejan Zečević), THE OUTPOST (dir. Kurt Knight), and in films such as HOTIZON (dir. Svetislav Dragomirović) and HERD (dir. Nikola Kojo).

 

From 2017 to 2020, he was part of the organization of the Slovenian Film Days in Belgrade. In recent years, he has also performed in Slovenian theaters such as SNG Nova Gorica, APT Novo Mesto, and SSG Trieste).

 

He was also seen in the TV series ČESNOVI and in the second season of the series INSPECTOR VRENKO'S CASES. In 2022, he participated in the Talents Sarajevo program at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
