Oriana Kunčić, born in 1971 in Šibenik, was part of the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice, where she studied theater history and at the acting department of the Academy of Performing Arts at the University of Sarajevo. She has worked as an assistant director and casting director on a number of feature films and short films, many of which went on to win awards at international film festivals, including: NA PUTU, directed by Jasmila Žbanić; SNIJEG, directed by Aida Begić; GRBAVICA, directed by Jasmila Žbanic; and GOSPOĐICA, directed by Andrea Štaka. Since 2010, she has worked as an actor and acting coach in the Croatian National Theater in Šibenik. She was part of the European Shooting Stars Jury at the 64th Berlinale in 2014.
