Isidora Simijonović is an award-winning film, television, and theater actress from Belgrade. Even before earning her degree from the Academy of Arts, she made an internationally acclaimed film debut that won her the Best Actress Award at the Vilnius International Film Festival. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with numerous prominent regional directors, building a diverse and versatile body of work. She has achieved significant acclaim for her television roles in series such as MORNING CHANGES EVERYTHING, MY FATHER'S KILLERS, THE FAMILY, and THE ALPHABET OF OUR LIVES. Notably, for her portrayal of Nađa in TIME OF EVIL, she was nominated for the Heart of Sarajevo Award and won the "Radmila Savićević" Golden Antenna at the FEDIS Festival in 2022. Her filmography also includes internationally recognized film titles like THE SON’S WILL, HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WOMAN?, A GOOD WIFE, and HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN. Parallel to her screen career, she has taken on leading roles across almost all major Belgrade theaters and became a permanent member of the Belgrade Drama Theatre ensemble in 2022. She is the recipient of several prestigious theater accolades, including the 2018 Sterija Award for Best Actress, the "Žan Marolt" Award at the Jurislav Korenić Days in Sarajevo, and the "Zoranov brk" Award for her performance in ŠARLOTA CASTELLI. Fluent in English with a conversational command of Italian and a foundational knowledge of French, Isidora is actively building an international career.
