Lea Mihevc is a Slovenian actress. Before enrolling at Academy of Theatre, Radio,Film and Television (AGRFT) in 2017, she lived and worked in New York City, where she transitioned from modeling to acting while completing the Two-Year Meisner Technique Acting Program at William Esper Studio. After returning to Slovenia, she landed her first leading roles in the television series ENA ŽLAHTNA ŠTORIJA and the feature film JAWS OF LIFE. She pursued Acting studies at AGRFT under the mentorship of Jernej Lorenci, Jernej Šugman, and Branko Jordan. During her studies, she appeared in several television series, including JA, CHEF!, REKA LJUBEZNI, V IMENU LJUDSTVA, and SEKIRCA V MED, as well as in the short films NOBODY SAID I HAVE TO LOVE YOU AND RISK. She also played a supporting role in the teaser project VIDA, A SIMPLE LIFE. She earned her BA in Acting in 2021 and completed her MA in Theatre Singing in 2023. Her master’s performance, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, GIRL, received the Academy Prešeren Award and won the Best Cabaret Award at the United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City. Driven by a deep interest in the actor’s voice and vocal expression, Lea attended the Fitzmaurice Voicework® Teacher Certification Program in 2023 and is currently a Teacher in Training. She currently stars in the lead role in the television series NEMIRNA KRI, teaches AGRFT, and continues to explore new ways to refine and expand her artistic craft.
