Saša Pavlin Stošić

Saša Pavlin Stošić was born on September 28 in 1988 in Novi Sad, although she grew up in Slovenia. In 2008 she began studying Stage and Film Acting at Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana under the mentorship of Matjaž Zupančič and Boris Ostan. She graduated in 2016 with the bachelor’s degree ‘Annerl in Me’.


During her studies and later she participated in various theater productions: Mini Teater, Ljubljana City Theatre (MGL), Prešeren Theater Kranj, APT Novo mesto, Bunker, Stara Elektrarna, Senzorium, Cankarjev dom Ljubljana, City Theater Ptuj, Margareta Schwarzwald Institute, Puppet Theater Ljubljana, SNG Ljubljana. 


In 2016 she became a member of Ljubljana Slovene National Theatre Drama.


During her studies and later she took part in numerous feature films, short films and television projects such as Marko Nabršnik's SHANGHAI, Sonja Prosenc's THE TREE, Peter Bratuša's AWAKENING, Slobodan Maksimovič's THE INVISIBLE HAND OF ADAM SMITH, Jan Fabris's short films CHANGES, Mitja Ličena and Sonja Prosenc PARADISE and others. She took part in television series: FATEFUL WINE, OUR BRIDGES in the production of POP TV and others.


In 2017 she won the Best Actress Award at the TMFF Online Film Fetsival (UK) for her role as Alenka in the short film Changes, and in 2018 she again won Best Leading Actress Award at The Indie Fest (US).
