Admir Šehović

Actor

Admir Šehović was born on January 10, 1986, in Prijepolje, where he also spent his childhood. He made his film debut in 1996 at the age of ten, playing the role of little Milan in PRETTY VILLAGE, PRETTY FLAME, directed by Srđan Dragojević. The role left a strong impression on both audiences and critics, and is considered one of the most memorable child performances in contemporary Serbian and regional cinema. After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (DIF) in Sarajevo, where he studied until his third year. During this period, he was known by the nickname “hippie,” reflecting his strong individuality and artistic inclinations. He ultimately found his professional calling by enrolling in the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, where he graduated with a degree in acting. Throughout his career, he has played a variety of roles in both film and television. Notable film projects include FULL MOON (2019), SO SHE DOESN’T LIVE (2020), DARKROOM (2021), THE DEATH OF THE MATCH GIRL (2023), THE GHOSTS YOU DREW ON MY BACK (2023), as well as the Netflix thriller IHOSTAGE (2025), in which he plays the lead role. On television, he appeared in BLACK SUN (2017), THE SWAMP (2020), BLOCK 27 (2022), and THE HOLLOW (KOTLINA, 2022), where he made a notable impact on the regional scene. For his portrayal of Dino in THE HOLLOW, he was nominated for the Heart of Sarajevo award at the Sarajevo Film Festival. He speaks English, and lives and works between Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Belgrade.
