Alen Kermac

Alen Kermac, born on November 21, 1978, in Trieste, Italy, is a Slovenian-Italian actor. He began his acting journey at the Studioart Theatre School, which was part of the SSG THEATRE in Trieste. He also regularly attended the "Brother Vajevec Actors Studio" in Ljubljana and Zagreb, where he trained in the Strasberg Method. Over the years, he participated in numerous workshops and classes across Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and the USA, further honing his acting skills and language proficiency. He is fluent in English, Serbian, and Croatian, and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. His first on-screen experience came in 2018 with the documentary feature film KARTOTEKA. This was followed by several episodic roles in Slovenian TV series such as INHUMANUM, JA, CHEF, SEKIRCA V MED, ZA HRIBOM, and SKRITO V RAJU, as well as in Italian series like LIBERA and IL SILENZIO DELL'ACQUA 2. In the documentary ALIVE IN CHRIST, Kermac portrayed a Roman priest, speaking in ancient Latin, while in SREČEN BO ČAS, he played a German aristocrat, speaking in German. Kermac made his feature film debut in the Slovenian film INVENTURA (directed by D. Šinko). His career in Italian cinema began with the role of a partisan commander in LA ROSA DELL'ISTRIA (directed by T. Aristarco), which was broadcast on Italian state television RAI. Another noteworthy performance was in the Italian film AMICHE MAI, directed by renowned Italian director M. Nichetti. Throughout his career, Kermac has also appeared in various independent films, short films, and TV/online commercials.
