Vesna Kuzmić is a professional film, television, and theatre actress, born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Of Slovenian and Serbian heritage, she studied acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana and earned her MA in Acting with honors from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts – GITIS in Moscow. She works across languages and borders, having performed in Slovenian, English, Spanish, Russian, Serbian, and even in Italian, French, and Old Aramaic. Her television credits include recurring roles in RIVER OF LOVE (REKA LJUBEZNI), CORPSE (TRUPLO), and LP, LENA, as well as a guest appearance in JA, CHEF. On film, she portrayed Leonor Fini in THROUGH MY EYES and appeared in CORPORATION. On stage, she won Best Actress at the 32nd VALISE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL in Poland for her role in THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL. Since 2022, she has been based in Madrid, where she recently played the lead in MIA, a powerful theatre piece about domestic violence. She continues to expand her international career across Europe.
