Tihana Ćulafić was born in 1978 in Kotor. In 2002, she graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, where she studied acting in the class of Professor Branimir Popović.

She acted in the following films: IGLA ISPOD PRAGA directed by Ivan Marinović in 2016, NA MLEČNOM PUTU by Emir Kusturica in 2016, SLUČAJEVI PRAVDE - THE BOOKS OF KNJIGE by Zoran Marković  in 2017, and Sirin by Senad Šahmanović in 2022. She acted in regional TV series: MJEŠOVITI BRAK, LUD ZBUNJEN NORMALAN and DOJČ KAFE.

She acted in plays directed by the following directors from Montenegro and the region: Boro Drašković, Egon Savin, Milan Karadžić, Slobodan Milatović, Radmila Vojvodić, Ivica Kunčević, Lidija Dedović, Ana Vukotić, Tara Manić and Mirko Radonjić. Her roles that stand out are: Teuta, Medea, Oedipus, Jocasta as well as Rosamunde, in the play of the same name by director Senka Bulić, for which she was awarded at the Festival of Small Theater Forms in Vratsa, Bulgaria, in 2011.

She participated in the projects of the conceptual artist Ilija Šoškić: TRAPHOS- SUNCOKRET, a heliotrope action in the City Gallery of Kotor in 2006, and TRACTATUS in the Art workshop Lazareti in Dubrovnik in 2009.

​

She is the initiator and founder of the theater event “Trg od pozorišta” and Festival “Teuta - new ancient theater” in Kotor in 2008, and also a producer and co-producer of several award-winning plays.

​

In 2015, she coordinated a drama project for the Swedish Institute Seven in Montenegro, which aimed to combat violence against women.
